I didnt know gledwood springs had a hood till i came to thos area. Be careful, be vigilant.
The wifi didn’t work and our keys didn’t work. Stood out in the cold each time we tried to get the door open. Dark and outdated.
It was clean but it had a funky smell when entering the room. Don’t know if it was the carpet in the room. Then when we were getting ready to go to sleep it was so noisy there was jumping or some loud noises coming from the room up above us. The outside people going by the room was also loud and noisy so overall not a very quiet place to get sleep.
Stayed there because I thought I could work there in the morning. Turned out their Wi-Fi was not working so I wish I never even booked the place.
We had 2 queen beds. Mine was smelly and the sheets didn't seem to get washed. It was late so I just slept on top of the sheets with no cover. Good thing the heater ran non stop and the room was hot even on low-could not make it any lower.
The surly laundress that checked us in was shockingly rude. I was immediately offended by her attitude. I have no idea what caused this type of behavior as I in no way provoked her. Upon checking in to the room itself we noticed the toilet flushed very slowly, but didn't give it much thought as the motel is vey old/dated. At 10pm the toilet did overflow. I arrived at the hotel at 5:30 pm but the check-in staff told me my reservation had been canceled, however she let me check in anyway. I don't understand at all such an operation doing nothing good to customer or the hotel itself. She told me the cancellation was because of my guarantee CC with expiry 09/22 could not go through. I recall the reservation was made long time ago and later on I got a new card with new expiration. That maybe the cause but she could have called me to settle the issue. Didn’t look like in the picture, the place looks old, and 30 min before the time you had to live the room they nocking the door to tell you that you have to get out on time
