No hot water, bed sheets smelled, changed rooms after checking in after ordering food for the room. Called and complained about no hot water at 10:30 pm and got no response from the front desk.

We have been coming to Glenwood and staying here for over ten years. We've always liked it because it was a good deal and also clean. I was extremely disappointed this time and last time I stayed there as we stayed in the adjacent building that they more recently purchase. The room was dirty. There were stains on the curtains, a burned hole in the blanket on the bed, and the remote for the TV was so dirty I did not want to touch it. We chose the Glenwood Springs Inn specifically for the electric vehicle charging stations. However, when we arrived both of the two EV stations were in use. At the reception desk, I inquired about an EV charging wait list, and was shocked to learn that one of the cars taking up an EV spot is owned by the receptionist herself. Instead of offering to move her car to give priority parking to an actual hotel guest, she said I could park my car next to hers and when she was done charging, she would plug in my car. I stated on my booking that i had 5 people. And i looked at it twice to make sure. Once i got there, there was only 2 beds. One of our kids had to sleep on the floor.
There bugs in the room, the door was replaced with a different one from the rest, and the room didn't match the photos online whatsoever. Also, their check-in and check-out rules and times are hard to meet. The office ladies would not budge or allow anything outside the rules, no flexibility whatsoever, so they charge money. This place is a scam.
