I should have never left my other tan place but I gave this place a chance because a friend said they were good and had good customer service both untrue.

Most of the good reviews on here are from when they were called LUX TAN!! GLO bought the place and it has gone WAY down hill. I have the monthly unlimited membership for 2 people. I spray tan, and my daughter uses the beds. GLO drastically downgraded the spray tan formula they used to use. I now have to pay an extra $10 on top of my monthly membership every time I come to get sprayed If I want the nicer formula that they used to use, and I can now pay another extra $5 to get a double pass on my legs that you definitely need... read more

I went into the Plano location to cancel my membership and she advised me to call customer service, I called customer service and closed my membership, so I thought. 10 months later and $706 I found out they never canceled my membership. I only tanned there one time, I never received an email or text stating that they were stealing money from my account. Be very careful with these people they are frauds.
I recently joined Glo Tanning after being with PBT for many years and was happy with my decision until I was told something was a LAW, when in reality, I was not the one breaking the LAW, Glo Tanning is doing so on a daily basis! Your tech are telling clients eye protection is required and forcing clients to pay $8.00 for goggles. The law state the protection is required and is to be provided at NO CHARGE! VERY UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. It's hard to believe, but I was charged 4 months in a row for a service they did not even offer. Once I explain what they did, I would be surprised if anyone would disagree with me. The location used to be Lux Tanning and productsand services were great, now Glo Tanning has bought them out. I use spray tanning. Glo has decided to change the drying passes from 6 to 2. Obviously, you come out very wet. When I asked the manager (and called customer service) I was told it was company policy to get people in and out quicker. There was nothing they could do. This business has absolutely gone downhill since they were Lux. The customer service is awful! The quality of the spray tan sessions are shorter and worse. Highly recommend to go somewhere else. I am quitting my membership and will be going elsewhere.
This place is a total scam. I was a client of LUX Tan paying $118/month for a full package. They switched to GLO tan on Jan 1 but never notified me that the $118 package price has been reduced to $69 but now half the service I was getting is charged as add-ons. I asked why they continued to charge me $118 and was told I never updated my acct on Jan 1. DO NOT GO HERE this is the worst tanning salon ever!! They are so rude. You will turn orange and streaky. I was promised I would not look orange and I woke up looking like an Oompa Loompa and steaks up my arm from the spray tan booth. It took me a week and a half to scrub this horrible and embarrassing tan off. I felt so ugly with this tan! Save your money and go somewhere else!
