I had my second spray tan at LUX today. The salon is very nice and the machines seem new & modern; however today was a different experience that could have been awful but turned out fine. Somehow my spray tan machine sprayed my legs twice and never did my top half! I was going to have dark legs & white torso! As a pale gal with freckles, living in Dallas, I was looking for someplace to work on getting a good base coat, so I don't have a miserable summer of burns and I have found it! Tyler was awesome, took the time to show me around and EXPLAIN the beds so I knew what was what... soooo helpful! explained I didn't want to be Orange, and he showed me lotions without bronzer in them. So, I have been weary of tanning salons for the past year because I was a "loyal" customer to Palm Beach Tan and they were just ALWAYS awful and rude and would charge random things to my card. I recently loved to the Wycliff Cedar Springs area and was so happy to find LUX! Allison was the one who helped me set up my account and helped me pick out my lotions and package. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend LUX to anyone who is looking for a nice, classy tanning salon that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in.
Best.choice I could have made. Knowledgeable staff and they really take care of their customers. I've been to many salons over the years and feel confident in saying they're outstanding and set the bar far higher than their competitors
I really enjoy this place. Everyone is so kind and friendly and don't act like you're a bother when you walk through the door to use your membership. When I first joined, Evan was (and always is) very friendly and gave me a great tour. It has been a long time since I've been to a tanning salon, so he brought me up to speed in a timely manner. They provide champagne and plenty of towels, and the equipment is clearly modern and up-to-date. I highly recommend Lux!
I've been wanting to get ready for pool season by getting a tan. I looked up places around me and I was impressed by the website and reviews for Lux. When I walked in, Evan gave me an expert tour of the facility and broke everything down into a tailored experience for me. I ended up using a bed that sensed my skin to prevent burning which was huge welcome surprise!
Cannot say enough good things! The MOST convenient hours, great location, clean equipment, and stellar staff! Evan is always so friendly and helpful (despite working until 11pm!), and makes each visit a wonderful experience! I have tried numerous tanning salons in Dallas, and LUX has the best sunless tanning hands down! Their VersaPRO is super quick and easy, the prepaid packages don't break the bank, and they always offer you a glass of champagne -- can't beat that!
What a fun way to tan! I was promptly greeted by Raymond who took me on a full tour and explained all of the features. While I was setting up my account they got pretty busy but both Raymond and Evan remained friendly, polite and efficient. Each customer was offered champagne or sparkling water, which is a nice bonus. They also offer chilled towels with some kind of toner that is very refreshing. I stumbled upon LUX via yelp and I'm so glad I did! Devin was informative, patient and very helpful! She walked through many different options and worked with me to find the optimal solution for me. It's a very classy salon and fantastic service from Devin. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking and specifically ask for Devin - she was awesome!
