We visited in Saturday night as we heard this was a great place good food and vibe. We made reservations through open table and confirmed our reservations for 5. Upon our arrival we were told that reservations were not honored that late. after providing proof of confirmation of reservations we were seated and waited over 30 minutes yo be waited on as the waitress were near the kitchen arguing about who would serve us after placing our drink and food orders were were never checked on again until my order of cold fries and chi... read more
Ordered drinks and brunch. Side of eggs served first, then 10 mins later after having the ac blown on them, one of our meals was served . Fried lobster tail and grits. Grits were already stiff and cold. 10 minutes after that, the other plate was served. Forgot a side. Brought it 5 mins later. Asked three people for our drinks. Eventually they came, and were too sweet to drink. Literally syrup. Overall, enjoyed the AC and the water.
Personally, I would never recommend anyone to go here for food. Neither of the 3 of us enjoyed our food. Additionally, we saw other tables send back their catfish order.
Reservations not needed for mid day. Only positive was how the catfish was cooked. Shoes were sticking to the floor, table not cleaned despite restaurant being empty, staff "uniform" seemed unnecessary, food and drinks were overpriced, plastic eating utensils, and added food to our order that we didn't ask for.
This was the worst restaurant I ever been too.I will not be returning, the service was deplorable.
The food was tasty, but the service atrocious, one of the worst I've experienced in my life. Orders were wrong. We both ordered a cup of the same soup, yet one was received 8 minutes after the other. The entrees were received almost 15 minutes apart, so one of us had finished his dinner before the other even received his main dish. Then the bill at the end of the meal was off as well. I don't know how this place stays in business with service like that.
Worst experience ever. 3 hours and 4 people didn’t ever get good. Absolute worst service.
Went at 9 pm after a cheer competition with kids and the environment was inappropriate for minors. They were starting hookahs and had explicit music videos on the tv’s. There was no mention of the environment being 18+ on the website or open table. We did not get to experience their food as we left. I sent a message via OT and did not get a response.
Food for Saturday brunch was not seasoned/flavorful for a southern creole eatery.
