Made reservations for 6:15pm, arrived at 6:10. Walked in and no one was at the host stand, nobody greeted us or even said we will be right with you. We had to ask staff who kept walking right past us how do we get seated and they kept saying hold on. A guy who was making hookah went and got the manager for us but the manager never came. We waited for about 30 mins trying to be seated and it never happened so we left. We traveled all the way from Virginia to experience Gottis and instead we got 0 customer service. UNACCEPTABL... read more

We made a reservation for 2 on Open Table. When we arrived and notified the hostess of our reservation we were told we didn’t need one and would be seated immediately. About 6 minutes later we were seated. After going over the menu, we knew exactly what we wanted to order. We sat there and waited, and waited, AND WAITED! NOT A SINGLE SERVER CAME BY TO ACKNOWLEDGE US! So after about 20 minutes we decided to leave and go somewhere else. This was our first and definitely our last time at Gotti’s.

The Review: First, let’s start with the excellent part. Gotti’s is centrally located in downtown Houston parking wasn’t that bad was able to get street parking, and paid parking is available all over the area. The DJ was excellent. The music was a bit too loud but she kept the crowd going and moving now for the rest; we arrived for a reservation for 12 they changed it to 10 arbitrarily without notifying us. We sat at a location that only held eight when we again had 12. As far as the food goes, the food was tasty, but some o... read more

I've heard mixed reviews about this place and decided to give them a try. I was very disappointed in my experience there. Our table was not prepared for the number we reserved, we also called that week to confirm. It took 30 minutes for a mimosa tower to come after ordering. The food took even longer, and was cold when it arrived. My gross grits were stuck to the plate and very crumbly. I didn't ask them to remake it out of fear if have to wait another hour for it. The waitstaff isn't seasoned and needs training on how to ta... read more

Got seated as soon as we walked in. After about 10 min someone came with a water craft and a few wet plastic cups. Another 10 min passed, multiple servers and hostess walking around; seating customers, bringing out orders and drinks, but no one acknowledged us. We continued to wait, trying to give the benefit of doubt, but y’all wasn’t that busy. One waiters/server (ponytail, petite with a Jean jacket and yellow shirt on) looked us dead in the eye and walked away. All in all we spent 35-40 min here with no food, service or e... read more

We waited almost 5-10 minutes to be acknowledged and seated. It took an hour and a half to get our food and when it came out it was lukewarm. The alcoholic drinks were weak and tasted like Kool-Aid. When I sent it back and asked for wine there was lip gloss on the glass. My friend had something, like old food, floating in her soft drink.

We didn’t even stay, the music was so loud and people dancing every where. I honestly thought it was club. The annoying part I paid $20 to park to just turn around and leave.
