In 1992, Atlanta flooring experts Marc Seltzer (father; co-owner) and Jason Seltzer (son; co-owner) founded an Atlanta flooring company Great American Floors. Jason had recently returned home from The University of Georgia and Marc was in the planning stage of changing his two year old company, American Carpet Distributors, into a full service flooring company. Great American just did a fabulous job refinishing our hardwood floors. From the moment we met Jason, we felt like we were in good hands with Great American. All of our questions were answered in a professional and timely manner. While we were away from the house during the refinishing process, updates and pictures were provided to keep us aware of the progress. We couldn’t be happier with the results and would definitely recommend Great American to others

I’m currently working with Jason at Great American Floors on a basement remodel. He redid some flooring in our home a few years ago and had a Fabulous experience! Nothing short of excellence! Another great year with Great American Floors! As a designer with a lot of new homes and renovations of existing homes that need new flooring, I have to have a good team that I can trust as far as selections and installations. I work with Steve Williams on most of my projects and I never worry about a project once it’s in his hands. Our basement home theatre has never looked better! Steve and his crews kicked booty and made, what I consider, a difficult install, look easy. The work crews were fantastic and paid attention to detail. The perfectionist in me really admires these guys!

I will only do flooring business with Great American Floors. They have installed hardwoods, refinished hardwoods and installed a beautiful laminate wood product for a large room in my basement for my home. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the installers are top notch.

Jason and the entire team at Great American Floors are extremely professional , helpful and friendly. They always make me feel like a friend when they do a job for us. They have installed hardwoods, vinyl flooring and carpet for us over the years. I would not use any other flooring company !
