My contract expired six months ago and I did not received any e-mail notification, only over regular mail and because of that, my bill was doubled and I have automatic payment, so I wasn't paying attention to my bills until too late and when I contacted the customer service, the agent says they send me a notification form over mail and when I asked him about the email notification, he had no answer, what's a disappointment to me.

On my way into a movie Wednesday after work a young man stopped me to ask "Do you want to tell ConEd that you want cleaner energy?" and I said sure. He railroaded me into signing up for an account without telling me that's what it was. When I saw the confirmation email I contacted Green Mountain RIGHT AWAY yesterday to cancel. I got a cancellation confirmation email. This morning I got a new email confirming that I'm signed up and they're contacting ConEd to let them know. I'm furious! I'm all for clean energy. Sales rep made me switch from my current electric company provider promising that they will pay for the early termination fee .. it’s been 3 months .. never received any money for the cancellation fee and now other company Put me on Collection

They are trying to get me to pay over the amount I owe saying that it’s an accumulated balance. They cancelled my contract/account and are trying to make me pay. That’s not fair and I tried to talk to someone but they just run me in circles and try to make it my fault.

Scam company. Don't even bother signing up. They Bill you even months after you've canceled service. Negative five stars. 0 star is too good for them.

Run from this company. I should have never switch over charge i live with my 8 and 4 year kids we never at home my bill is 614.99 why we are not at home during the day and at night we do not use ac we use fans so why is my bill that high. Shut this company down. A+ it should be an F. No customer service whatsoever.

First of all i want to say this is one of the most ridiculous energy company, I have been with gme since 10/2019 and for the first few months it was good until lately when my bill spiked up and up and up but i never bothered to check i just made my payments, when my bill was due i paid it always on time only for me to move from my 1 bedroom apartment to a new house some few days ago and i get a bill of $500.73 and when i called them i was told it was money that accumulated from my bills since january 2019 saying that i signe... read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. This company has engaged in unethical business practices. They claim to have sent me 1 notification only that my contract was expiring. They made no further attempts after that, nor did they bother to bring to my attention the fact that they were raising my rate every 3 months in the last 9 months. Little to my knowledge my last bill was charged at 136% higher price than what I was paying just last November.
