Out electric bill increased exponentially the last 2 months. After calls with PECO we discovered that the bulk of our bill is because of this company’s rates. We cancelled and hope to find relief. I feel this company should refund us some of these Exorbitant fees. It’s ridiculous the amount they're suddenly charging. No mail or notice of rate increases. I feel better knowing they are no longer providing service. One tries to be green and gets abused for it. Thanks Green Mountain for showing your true colors.

I wish I could have given this no stars. This service is a scam. Not only has my bill more than doubled, after two years of reveiwing this sevice is a scam. AND...I canceled the service and I am still getting billed, as the BS that I was told by the rude customer service rep, is that it take 2-3 months to officially be canceled. This is not a purchased item like a phone that is being paid off. Every single review is true, scam, scam, scam.

Garage company their salesman signed my signature himself on the sales contract after being turned down I got an email a few days later saying I signed their contract but it wasn’t my signature nor was my name even spelled right

Stay away from this company... if I could give it a negative star I would... In early 2016 I started with Green Mountain Energy, being that I have solar panels they gave me credit for the first 3 months after that my bill went sky high. I was paying as if I didn’t have any solar panels. I contacted Sunpro and they stated that my solar panels where working just fine. They advice me to call Center point to check my meter. Buyer Beware! Green Mountain Energy is a scam! They terminated my fixed rate contract and substituted it with a variable rate without notifying me. When I asked about this they said they cannot be expected to contact every customer when they terminate a contract. Then, at the coldest months of the year, then the doubled the rate from 8 cents/kwh to 15! Our electric bill went from $300 to $600 per month and once it got up to $695. Do not get the free nights option for Green Mountain Energy. They're a scam. I have not been using energy as of lately, because I'm out of town for work, and my bill comes out over $100. I have a 600 square foot apartment.

I stopped by to see their quotes at the Houston Auto Show. The sales rep asked for some information from me so that he could provide me with a quote. He said he was going to email me with the information from their Auto Show discounted rates and I would have until February 4th to decide if I wanted to accept their service. I was a customer for over 8 years. Prices are ridiculous. When I called today, the customer service rep forwarded my call to another member so my survey would not go against him. The other customer service member explained how he did it.

I personally will not be recommending Green Mountain to any one ever again. I have been charged a vacant fee 6 times in my 7 months (I am a leasing consultant and also a resident at the community I work at). I was told that through Green Mountain I would get a discount on usage. I created an account on February 22, 2018 and received a conformation email.
