Angie chose the best caregiver for my mother, Arlene. Karen was compassionate, helpful and genuinely interested in caring for my mother. Angie was always available and helpful when I called her. This was our first experience with Home Care, and I would highly recommend year service.

Caregivers are quality people who, for the most part, seem genuinely concerned for my parents wellbeing. I am very concerned with the ability of the staff to handle the situations that inevitably arise, whether it’s an after hours concern, a no-show or timely communication. The weekly schedules that are viewed on the Ally site are often not updated or correct, which is a concern. I believe a client has every right to know who will be walking into their home. I have met some very lovely people through Griswold. Really caring. Unfortunately, you get multiple caregivers for your assignment and you have to train multiple times. It is also hard on the patient to keep changing people. In addition, the caregivers seem to have varying levels of training.

Overall, we were happy and confident that my mother's needs would be filled. Melanie was always very nice and professional on the phone, but repeatedly failed to respond to follow up requests. My requests to keep us updated about schedule changes were mostly ignored. On a number of occasions I would have to call, e-mail, and text her numerous times to ask who would be coming to work for my mother on a particular day.
