... and friendly. Mike was a pleasure to work with. After a time (and money) wasting experience attempting to refinance with my existing lender, a friend referred me to Mike at GRA. He performed as described by my friend. Not once did a conversation begin with “Unfortunately”, which seemed to be a favorite and overused term by Chase. Mike seemed to connect things behind the scenes which avoided extra/redundant work on my end. Got a sub 2.5% 15-year fixed rate closed in good time with minimal disruption to my life. If you are looking for a place to finance or refinance a home go no further than Guaranteed Rate. The process was so easy and the service was amazing. Ron and his team were with me every step of the way and the process took less than 2 weeks to refinance. You got a list of things that were needed and uploaded them online and had support the entire time. Will use again!!
I've done several loans with Dave and I've referred families and friends to him over the years. He monitors the rates closely and tries to lock the best one. For my most recent purchase, some issues came up with the appraisal process and docs that threatened to derail the closing, and he tried very hard to ensure that the escrow closing would stay on track. He kept all the parties in the loop so we could all cross the finish line.
