This vet office is the best around. They actually care about you and your furry babies. Dr. Hurst is the best vet. I would be lost without her. She is wonderful, caring, knowledgeable, and most of all she loves animals and it shows. Gunston animal hospital should be thankful to have her as there Dr. as you don't get any better then her. Thank you Dr. Hurst for all you do.
Fantastic staff providing the very best care. Professional, thorough and compassionate. Highly recommend. They also have an amazing Have a Heart program, that provides care for and then adopts out animals in need.
I can't speak highly enough of Gunston Animal Hospital. 1) the prices are totally reasonable, especially for this area. I can't afford most of the other vets in the area so I really appreciate this place. 2) they are extremely patient with anxious dogs. One of my dogs had a bad experience at another vet in the area and now he's a terrified. My thanks to the Gunston Animal Hospital for their care and compassion when euthanizing our cat today. Could not have asked for better support during a difficult time. They saw us at the appointed time, advised us of the overall procedure, gave us ample opportunity to spend the last few minutes with our cat, and then conducted the procedure professionally and with great care. Could not have asked for better support.
Our baby (Gelato) has been coming here since we got him at 7 weeks! Gelato is our first family pet and I wouldn't trust him anywhere else. He's greeting by name at all his visits and he loves coming here..they obviously have the best treats!
We have been waiting for over 45 minutes past our scheduled appointment time and staff is unable to give any estimate on how long we'll have to wait to be seen. We got excuses like "Saturday is our busiest day of the week and we only have 3 rooms". Edit: We were finally seen and everyone we saw were extremely nice and knowledgeable. We were also told about the ongoing emergency they had which explained the wait time.
Doctor Vinch really listens and is understanding. Gentle and sweet with my baby boy. I highly recommend her.
