Our roof was leaking around our Dormers. Although not covered by insurance, the insurance adjuster recommended Guy Roofing. A person came out, did not go up to inspect the roof nor go in the attic to inspect the potential issue. He sent up a drone to determine the issues. We received a quote for $8500. We thought that included the roof repair and Dormer repair; it did not. The Dormer repair cost another $5000. Now a few months later we have another leak next to the completed work. I had a signed contract via internet with Guy roofing in July 2022. Something a sizable deposit to begin the project. Did not hear from them for 2 weeks on scheduling. Then when I contacted them to ask about starting I was sent a quote over twice as much via email by a different individual. In other words they were not going to honor the original quote. Guy Roofing gave us a quote for a new roof for 10000 dollars! Today we had our insurance company come review the roof! He said all we needed was repair work! The adjuster said the roof only had some loose nails on the ridge of the house and should be able to be repaired! We had already signed papers when I thought the quote was too high! So we called and cancelled! Would highly recommend not using them! I think about the older people who would not know what to do in a similar situation! Rip off company! Don't use them!

Misquoted siding replacement, signed agreement and instead of admitting their error and requoting came up with dishonest reasons that work could not be done. Materials were available in the quantity needed, color was available also. Finally, after giving them several weeks to correct the mistake and requote they simply withdrew the signed agreement. Although fine print does state company has to approve signed agreement, to me they should have verified measurements and cost before putting together a formal proposal for me to ... read more

Upon damage by a tornado, my 116 year old house needed reproofing. Given the age of the house, I thought I would call a highly referred and supported organization. Guy Roofing. Estimate done. OK. Insurance agreed. We did find out one out of two layers of roof on the house was asbestos and that had to be removed. During the removal, my copper gutters were seriously damaged and some removed. Be careful dealing with Guy roofing INC. Their sales rep (Jarrin P*****) promised they would fix my deceased mothers roof for "whatever the insurance pays" and we would have a small check left over. We wondered why he would not give us a straight estimate. Now they say we owe them almost 700 over what the insurance paid. Be careful if you deal with them. He preyed on our grief. Guy replaced my roof 8 yeas ago due to hail damage. Had no complaints till 2 years ago when 3 or 4 shingles came off my roof. They came out and said repair would cost 600.00. Course I missed the workmanship warranty by 1 year. I had to get it fixed and I also needed a new gutter in one area of the roof. I thought the cost was a little excessive but went ahead with the repairs. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago- 3 shingles coming loose in the same place on the roof. My mother-in-law had a tree fall on her house in the summer of 2018 due to a severe storm. Guy Roofing came out and repaired the area that was damaged by the tree. Unfortunately, in doing so, they staged all materials on the side of the roof that was not damaged by the tree fall. Less than a year later a roof leak happened in the area where Guy had staged their materials.
