The front desk staff were amazing. The hotel knew they were fully booked but they did not prepare enough food for breakfast, food ran out so fast
Friendly staff. Relatively quick elevators (20 floors). Traditional free breakfast - not bad. Room service every other day only. Good value for its location.
Hampton Chelsea hotel Great location, central to most attractions with good links to the subway nearby. The hotel itself is a little tired, but not a major issue. The elevators could do with an upgrade as 2 old elevators struggled to cope with all 19 floors at busy times. The staff were attentive and helpful, particularly Maria in the breakfast room, who always had a smile despite being rushed off her feet. The free breakfast is good, but got busy and there is limited seating space, so be prepared to queue.
