The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s an older hotel so don’t expect perfection. Location is perfect, safe area and close to subway!

New York Christmas trip Service was great. They will hold your luggage even if your room isn’t ready. Check in is at 3pm, but our room wasn’t ready until 3:20. Elevators were pretty good. Breakfast was on time and really good.
Good area, and convenient to have breakfast. Rooms were small but good. Quite loud within the hotel (not from outside traffic/sounds). The doors to the rooms and stairwells are not soft close and slam loudly every time someone goes in/out. Breakfast buffet uses all plastic cutlery and paper plates which seems very wasteful and not enjoyable to eat off of. On our last morning there they chose to test the fire alarm system at 8am, and then again about an hour later.
Great location with a friendly, accommodating front desk staff. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was great. We booked a city view room, but unfortunately the view wasn't great. Other than that, everything else was solid. We'd stay here again.
