Pros: Friendliness of staff, cleanliness of facilities, the view. Wow! A full moon rising over the harbor, watched from a rocking chair on the porch. Cons: The pillows: too soft. No firmer ones to be found. We had to wrap a couple of couch pillows we pilfered from the lobby. Location: No drag races, no drive-in movies, no shopping malls--nice! Nice place beautiful views from the porch a little pricey for the room we stayed in had a musty smell in the hallways.
Tennessee Very nice hotel. However we were put in a room off the main building. We were placed on second floor. That part of building had no elevator so had to DRAG our bags up the steps. We arrived later at night so one to help with bags.
I would go again Pros: The front porch area was probably the highlight of this Hotel...great views over looking the Bay and lighthouse. The rocking chairs were a nice touch. Cons: Lower the drink prices at the pool.....this isn't a luxury resort in the Turks & Caicos Location: 7 minute walk to great restaurants, shops, marina, and some nice outdoor bands. 6/24/15-6/26/15....We thought the Harbor view was ok, but nothing great. Close to the beach I was expecting more from this hotel. The pool was closed and undergoing renovations. The bathroom was small and the room itself was okay. Maybe the rooms in the main building are nicer.
Beautiful views and neighborhood the negative was we could not get room service after 10 pm.
Undisclosed construction and pool closure Everything was great except for the pool and patio closure, having to endure 8 hrs. of concrete cutting, circular saw and hammering noise. On top of that we couldn't use our balcony overlooking the pool because of the construction and the noise.
great location Pros: the look from the outside and inside. the way it melded into the landscape and community. Cons: more parking spaces Location: plenty of shopping and dining opportunities we had a great room. just the right size for 2 people. a nice view of the harbor and close to the stairs. we were in easy walking distance of the town for shopping and dining. the hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating. we enjoyed dining in the restaurant for breakfast a couple of mornings, and the food was delicious every time... read more
