4.0 out of 5 stars this rub is an acquired taste. I can't knock this rub because it has a good flavor, however it is an acquired taste, and it does not go on just any meat. I tried it on pork ribs, and it was great, I also tried it on beef, and it does not go well with beef in my opinion. I am a huge fan of Heath Riles rubs.

I was looking on amazon and read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. Many years ago I used to go to Memphis in May and remember all the great bbq there. 5.0 out of 5 stars Top Notch Rub When I saw this product it simply sounded awesome and had to try! I used it as an added spice for my Smoked Prime Rib and it turned out to be my best Prime Rib ever. I then made General Tso Chicken with Fried Rice and used it for both the chicken and the fried rice and WOW! So then I decided to add to my scrambled eggs for breakfast and again, WOW! let’s just say I’m hooked! So much flavor with just the right amount of heat. Now will have to look at other items they sell!
