I will not recommend Heritage to anyone in the future High turnover of staff and management makes care very inconsistent. The good staff that cares and does their job leaves after short time while the ones that sit around and are constantly on their phones are the ones that stick around. Menus are mostly processed foods with very little effort to include fresh fruits and vegetables. Not the most nutritious menu they could be serving. They have listened to our complaints. Looks good from outside but beware staff are not as friendly as outside looks. Picked because moms moms term care insure for sure covered it.

Overall mediocre to sub-par experience. Lovely facilities nice individual rooms a nice selection of activities. Large emphasis on resident independence only very little assistance and very understaffed. High rate of turnover. I would only recommend for someone looking for very, very minimal care.

My father's room was a pig stye the day we moved in. We cleaned it for over 8 hours, and it was never cleaned again. It had a big problem with ants and flies. I had to put my father's clothes out in the hallway to get them washed. He was not bathed until Hospice got on board. The rates went up every 2 months. I had a nurse try to pressure me into having my father move to memory care, saying that my father needed more care, which is more expensive. My father wasn't getting any care. Do not send your loved one to Heritage They do not have enough help Memory care unit has one or two caregiver over night for 40 residents My loved one is never bathed unless we do it My loved one is Always left in soiled depends it is sad to visit and find them like this Laundry piled up And management does not know what to do to make this place better

It's not too bad of a place if your loved one is fairly self-sufficient. But, when their health declines and they really need the assistance, good luck! Residents wait for up to 40 minutes for help after pressing their call button. I come and find my loved one still in pajamas with a soaked Depends at 11 AM in the morning, bed unmade and laundry undone. All of which we are paying dearly for. I was scheduled to take a toured here for my loved one, but when I arrived, they did not seem to be expecting me. I spoke with the front desk girls and was asked to take a seat. after that, I sat for more than 15 minutes before anyone spoke to me. I felt like I was being ignored or that my time was not important. I didn't feel; that the staff was competent either. If they could not take care of me well, How could they take care of my loved one?

They can not say they would keep my Uncle if his private funds ran out. They also have a wait list.
