The food and service was great! My friends and I came in on a busy Sunday with a large group about 20 of us. We were served in about 15-20 minutes. The decor and ambiance of the place was amazing. Definitely would recommend this place!

So I'm visiting for the month and I saw so many reviews about this place so I was like let me try it out. It is literally in the same plaza of the American Airlines center so it's def a great place to watch the game. I will say that the owner is def on Yelp watching the reviews of this place and I appreciate that just because it shows they actually are trying to provide the best service. Food, service, and drinks were great. The atmosphere was amazing but during our trip here watching the Mavericks game (5/12/2022), my partner and I experienced some rather strange behavior from the other guest. We were being airdropped homophobic pictures featuring a star from Stranger Things and a group nearest to us starting chanting how a member of the opposing team was the f slur. Came here on a Sat at 5:30 for a Birthday party. Place was not busy at all. Had a party of 16, and they sat us with no problem. We ordered appetizers and some drinks. The drinks were pricey, so be prepared for that. We had the (2)French fries, (2) Nachos and (2) Hummus. All were served hot and delicious. All the platters were plenty for people to enjoy. I had my birthday dinner at hero last year. And it was great. They sectioned off a little part of the restaurant and made sure there were enough seats available for everyone in the party. And they also brought out a champagne toast to everyone with us. The one issue that I usually see that happens with large parties is that service is slow and food takes a long time. But that didn't happen here. I have since gone back to hero a lot, and the food is always delicious. They have healthier options along with more American sporty... read more

Hero sits right to the side entrance of American Airlines Center! This place is huge, fun, and good! If you are in the mood to sit outside or inspire, you have plenty to select from dining in one or two bar areas, a sports area, or close by the game room! Screens everywhere to watch the game with music playing in the back ground! Your choice of all American food items for brunch, lunch, and dinner! We had a pretty large party 10 plus. But I can say that the service was on point the food was hot and tasty. I let the service manager know that I can appreciate it because I absolutely hate going to restaurant with larger parties because of the slowest service and cold food. Not so here glad we came and we will return.

I've lived here for 3 years and recently started going here. The place is great vibes! It's huge so there's always a lot of seating, lots of bar space, lots of attentive bartenders and servers. It's a healthy sports bar LOL. Sounds weird to say but it really is .. the chicken tenders are so tasty and you can tell they weren't soaked in a fryer like the regular sports bars. Dallas/texas games obvly take a precedent - overall one of the best sports bars in Dallas if you're wanting to eat!
