The service was excellent! The food was horrible. The burger and hamburger steak tasted rancid. The food was cold. The menu said crispy Brussels sprouts but they were anything but crisp. They were drenched in a thick sweet sauce. Will not be returning.

I'm usually a huge fan of HG Supply and love the fried chicken sandwich. We ate there tonight around 5:45 though and everything we got that was fried tasted just awful and rancid. I found out they changed the frying oil to coconut oil. I like coconuts generally and have no opinion on the whole seed oil issue, but wow was that oil awful. I basically ended up eating some of my wife's grilled chicken and kids burger, but the fries, fried chicken, and tuna on the fried rice appetizer were totally inedible to me. Food and drinks were good but I'm in a wheelchair and they had zero access to the second floor rooftop. Made it very uncomfortable and unenjoyable when I wish I could've gone up with my friends.

Met up with an acquaintance here- headed to the rooftop. Parking: free, but CROWDED and tight. I parked in the "HG" parking lot. It's a shared lot behind the restaurant. There was side street parking and I wish I had just parked there.... I do not like uptown parking. Ordered the chips and queso. It's made with cashew nuts (vegan). Went here on a Saturday night with a group and we were told that our table was ready. As soon as we got a text, we went up and found out that our table was given away to someone else. To make this things worse, we were told that a new table would be ready in 15 min. Guess what... didn't get seated for 45 min. I understand that it's a Friday night but giving a table away when people signed up to wait is unacceptable. My beer even came out flat too. I won't be back here anytime soon. It was an awful experience.

Group of us stopped in for happy hour, their drink menu is somewhat mish-mashed but at least there was the standard fare - beer. Their happy hour pricing is still a bit high and there was no real "happy" ambiance. Their happy hour food menu was extremely disappointing: the spinanch and artichoke dip, nachos were awful and came out somewhat cold. Man I love this place.. when I was local I was a regular. I was really hoping to get my order in before their kitchen closed. I tried online and it had closed, called at 9:30 and no one would answer. I showed up at 9:50 for a SALAD!!! And was turned away.. they said the kitchen had closed 5 minutes ago...coming from someone who's only home now every 6-8 weeeks and sped to get there, I'm hurt!
