Finally a good doughnut place on the east side. The donuts are seriously the best I have had. They are so fluffy and airy not to dense. Also their croissants are amazing. They remind me of the ones Costco used to have before changing them.
Highland donut shop is probably one of the best donut shops in the Bakersfield area just having opened up a short time ago they survive the virus scare by closing down and then reopening back up again. There is a wide variety of donuts there The Establishment is clean they keep it well sanitized because of the times that we live in today. You want a great donut......then you come here.
They are open! This is a fun place, that is super clean with lots of options. Donuts, bagels, croissants, coffee, and smoothies. Ordered the ham and cheese croissant and was almost disappointed when I hit the ham beciase the bread was so delicious- light, airy, flakey, buttery. Also bought the bacon maple bar which was also light these donuts are not heavy or greasy and that makes me happy. I have plans to go back (maybe after a nice walk)! Super clean Super friendly Nice and orderly Well stocked Great selection Super fresh Great service Nice selection of beverages Wow the donuts/pastries were so good! Tasty,soft,doughy,sweet,fresh,beautifully made! Highly recommend!
This place is truly special. Amazing pastries, sandwiches and drinks. Customer service A+++ comfortable, roomy and spotlessly clean. Prices are great too.
The best ham and cheese croissant as well as incredible doughnuts, I had the vanilla cream filled chocolate covered doughnut and it was so light and airy, and the flavors were to die for,. The croissant was airy and buttery and light with a crispy outside with ham and cheese filling, I am really impressed with the bakes here, I am in an Advanced Baking class in culinary school and these are as in good as the ones we created a few weeks ago, And I had never tasted any as good, anywhere
Sold me stale donuts! The donuts were hard and tasted like they were more than two days old. What a rip off!
Donuts are good but the customer service especially from the young Asian chick is pathetic. She rolls her eyes & huffs and puffs ..she needs to chill out or find something else to do. One day she's going to piss off the wrong person. She's a nuisance to the business. She acts like an entitled brat!
My second time going here and I was hoping they had better customer service this time. Boy I was wrong! I saw the same gals working there with the grumpy faces.
