My 5 1/2 month old puppy had been having various digestive issues and diarrhea for over six weeks, and the vet I was using didn't seem to be taking it seriously, and I wasn't getting any answers. A friend of mine recommended Highlands-Eldorado Veterinary Hospital (HEV), so I called and made an appointment. The staff was very friendly and took my concerns seriously. We were able to get a same-day appointment for our little poodle, Buddy. I had some concerns about his lab work from a different provider, plus some odd discoloration on his skin. Dr. Taylor and his staff were excellent. I have some medical background, and Dr. Taylor talked to me almost as a colleague or a student (which I loved), instead of resenting that I knew a few things. Dr Wes Taylor and his staff are family. I've been going there almost since the doors first opened. Dr Wes has welcomed my new fur babies, healed them throughout the years, and comforted me and my dear one when it was time to say goodbye. Dr. Taylor has done an amazing job of taking care of our Flash! We appreciated the options and his honesty about what was needed to get Flash back up & running again! The staff has always been great, as well! If you're looking for a great veterinarian's office, this would be it!

I love Dr. Taylor and the entire staff at Highlands Eldorado. Every time we need to see them, they are so good at being sensitive and reasonable about how to care for your pet that doesn't end up being a huge bill. From the minute we arrive they go out of their way to make Luna our cat feel comfortable and you can tell that each of them love what they do. We've moved to Frisco but I still drive to McKinney for our Luna because I am always so impressed about the level of attention and care they give.

We took our kitten Morrison here to figure out what was going on with him. Dr. Taylor took him in and evaluated him, prescribed him some medicine and treated him with care- he is now doing much better and his problems are seemingly cured. We are very greatful on the outcome and will be taking Morrison here for any and all appointments!

Have been taking all my doggies to Dr.Taylor for 12 yrs. He is professional, kind, caring, patient, impressively knowledgeable, & thorough. I trust him - which is a big deal! The staff at Highlands-Eldorado Veterinary Hospital is friendly, helpful, professional, & caring. This is a well run/well managed, welcoming organization. They care!
