We have been going to Highlands-Eldorado Vet since 1998. Dr Taylor has seen us through the loss of thee beloved pets and is now the vet for our 4 year old Golden Doodle. Everyone is so nice and sincerely loves animals.

I'm very happy with this doctor and his staff. They were the only that I could find other than the emergency hospital that had a sonogram in their office and it was what my dog needed they were able to get his problem under control which I honestly didn't think was going to have a good out come . He's doing good now and I'm very happy and so am I.

For us, having competent and caring veterinary care for our two dogs ... "our girls" is first and foremost as the reasons we go to Highlands-Eldorado Veterinary Hospital. But our good relationship with the doctors and support staff is yet another plus. Earl Smith McKinney

Giving 5 stars for Dr. Taylor and his staff! My fur baby woke up unable to walk with an incredibly swollen paw after a previous injury 'treated' by another vet elsewhere. Dr. Taylor was able to see us that day and made my sweet girl comfortable and happy. You definitely pay for the services (it's an animal hospital, it will be pricy) but it is worth the attention and care your pets receive. UPDATE: I love Dr. Taylor!! I always have a great experience with HEVH! My pups Roscoe and Kali love everyone that works there and always get the best care. Dr. Taylor is such a great doctor and I can tell that he truly cares about the health of my pups. I will never go anywhere else! Thanks for being so awesome! :)

One of our babies had been coughing and hacking for a couple of days. We called a few vet places that is closer to us and that has been around for along time. None could see her that day or even the next day. I called Highlands-Eldorado Veterinary they could see her at 5:30 that day. The place is easy to find, a nice area and the building was nice entering. The young girl welcomed us and ask if I could weigh Dede, they have a scale right as you enter. I couldn't give Dr. Taylor and staff a higher rating. Caring, supportive, and knowledgeable. We have chosen HEVH as our veterinary hospital for the care of the local Guide Dog puppies from Guide Dogs for the Blind. From routine care, to emergencies, they are courteous and supportive as well as always available. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great vet hospital for your pet.

Update - Yesterday, I had to say goodbye to my little 18 yr old dog Sherman. I want to thank Dr. Taylor and Team for all the kindness and care they gave my little guy. And when it was time, they treated him with love, dignity and respect so that he could experience a peaceful and calm end. God Bless. So far, so good. Charlie gets his routine vaccinations here, and they've treated him for skin rashes before...it took awhile but finally we got that cleared up. The last time I brought him in, he didn't see a vet...the tech was able to square us away and get us on the road in minutes. I love that they let Charlie go bat crap crazy running from one side of the lobby to the next. He has ADHD, and is hypersensitive to sensorimotor stimulation...it's always nice to have people understand him, lol.
