Very friendly n helpful staff at midnight when we checked in. Rooms very clean n organized. Housekeeping did great job. We were very pleased n comfortable with our stay.
What I like was this it was close to the train station. The negative parts was that it was kinda cramped and that i think that the elevator was the biggest gripe. None the less it wasn't glamorous or great, but average. Also other than that, its a fair walk/ taxi / rideshare to times square and other attractions in midtown Manhattan. Around the hotel there is a Duane reade, pizza shop from the right of the entrace when leaving the hotel and then take another right, and a mcdonalds. The location and the staff were all great! We were able to walk everywhere or catch one of several close by subways. And the front desk, restaurant and maintenance staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. However, the building needs some attention: after two days of rain we woke to a soaked carpet and had to change rooms. Then in our new room we experienced an extremely loud noise that would come and go at random times for several minutes at a time. One elevator didn't work, staff was to short for being on holidays, Rooms were cleaned up each 2 days
