Terrible photo printing My beloved laser printer (also a Brother) died so I go this one to tide me over until I replaced the laser printer. It was super easy to set up, and basically all I did was plug it in and it worked perfect wirelessly. It is very quiet which is a plus. This is a fine printer for someone who doesn't do a lot of printing or need quality photo prints. Printing black and white documents and labels is very easy and inexpensive with this printer. Easiest setup I've ever experienced This printer is great! It took me a whole ten minutes to set up, including taking it out of the box and packaging, plugging it in, connecting it to my wireless internet connection, adding it to my computer, and printing my first document. The print quality is great too! I love that it came with starter toner (prints up to 1000 pages) so I didnt have to worry about buying toner separately right away. I would definitely recommend this printer for a home or office!
Quiet and efficient I had a brother laser printer that finally crapped out on me after 10+ years, five of which were with heavy use for my home business printing invoices. So when I had to buy a new printer, right during Christmas selling season, I had to go with brother again. So far it has been efficient, quick and supremely quiet compared to my old printer. Set up is a Breeze, Ignore the Disc Can't speak much to the durability or the print quality yet since I just installed it last night. But I will update the review once I can. Super easy to setup I had previously bought a HP B/W laser jet printer that constantly gives me problems. It was a pain to setup and it doesn't print when it's asleep. You have to wake it up and wait 5 minutes and hope that it prints. I just bought this color laser jet printer from Brother and it was super easy to setup and install everything. Great Printer, Bad options This printer does not have an option of override to fully use up toner cartridges. You are forced to buy new toner cartridges before they are fully used up.
Great Printer Got this printer about 2 months ago, and so far, no issues what so ever. Great print quality, and still working on the starter cartridges that came with it. I am aware that when the 'low ink' warning is triggered, that there are work arounds to get more out of the cartridges, and when that time comes, there are several youtube tutorials on how to accomplish that.
