Trash Support voided my warranty for using 3rd party toner which by the way is 100% illegal.
Failed in less than 2 years of service. Tech Support was garbage This printer failed in a short amount of time and when I got a hold of tech support, they gave me a bunch of bs didn't want to help me. This was taken to a printer repair shop and even they couldn't fix it. Another thing to note that brother in a sneaky way does not allow for third party toner replacements either, they use some kind of tech to prevent that, this sort of thing should be on the label of printers. I should have listened to the reviews and not made this purchase Money down the drain. There were ink tracks on every page I printed, making the images I was trying to print un-usable. The $40 canon printer I purchased to replace this $260 laser printer does just fine. I should have just went to Walmart to begin with.
Beware of "No Toner" error even if there's plenty of toner It works fine, until you unplug it. Then it starts complaining about "No Toner" and becomes a worthless piece of trash in your home. Don't buy this piece of garbage.
Proprietary Piece of Junk Printer worked fine the first year and half, but it does not work now. I sent it in for a repair and the repair service sent it back un-repaired saying the issue was that I am not using the manufacturer's toners. Of course I am not. Who does? I can get all four toners (3 color, 1 black) for ½ the price of a single black toner from the manufacturer. I do not print that much, but I have changed the toners about every six months or so. No paper in Tray 1...even when its full Seemed like it could be a nice printer - if it printed that is. I've tried 3 different paper stocks, 20#, 24#, and a brand new ream of 20# paper. I've cleaned the rollers, dusted off any contact points, checked for jams, opened every available accessible doors to look for jams, or packing tape or other. It's just broke! Printer does not last long This printer went through 4 sets of cartridges of toner, about twice as much of the black toner. Tried to replace drums, belt, etc. quality just gets worse and worse. 8 months later, it is now just a back up black and white printer. Try another brand
Great for a bit. I bought this printer September 1st 2020. Here it is, 3 months after a year and the printer just tells me it can’t detect toner cartridge. I’ve read up on support documents and watched troubleshooting videos on The Youtube. Still the same error. Now I have to ask myself… do I pay to get it repaired 😕 or should I buy a new printer.😕
Quality awful To ship back over 100 $.I should have read return policy. Then told restock fee 10-40%.Reviews said great photo printing no so.Photos awful
