Very disappointed with customer service. Had someone come out to service my gas log. Nothing wrong with the service, the problem arose when I received the bill. First I was charged a $4.99 fuel fee and then a $15.99 supply fee. When I called to ask about those charges, I was told the fuel fee is standard. I wouldn't mind as much but I live 2.8 miles away. While the service and propane from Hocon is fine, I have had repeated issues with overcharging. One invoice had billed me over $6.00 per gallon when every other propane company was charging in the low $2.00 per gallon range. When I called to inquire about the high rate, I was advised it was an error and they rebilled at a still high rate, but lower than the initial rate. The Average has been anywhere from $2.60 per gallon to $3.00 per gallon for the last year. You use 270 gallons per year. If I sold you gas for the price you seek someone who uses in excess of 1000 gallons would be very upset with me if we gave them the same price that you want.
