I like Safe and easy parking
Location
Newly renovated, which I love. The room size is reasonable for an NYC hotel, and the space is clean and conveniently located. However, the biggest downside is the lack of soundproofing. I could hear everything from the hallway at night, especially when the cleaning crew was nearby—lots of door slams. Being on the 6th floor, I also heard the garbage truck loud and clear at night, which was unfortunate. Even walking through the hallway, I could hear what was happening inside the rooms. The hotel was easy to find and walkable from the redline subway. We even felt safe walking from the subway at night. The room was very clean and breakfast area was constantly cleaned and restocked. The staff that ran breakfast was phenomenal! The front desk also provided complimentary bottles of water which was nice when running out the door. We did not have any issues with the elevators and would definitely stay here again.
Property is two blocks from Madison Square Garden which was perfect.
Check in was late and rude.
