I'm not sure if I just ordered on the wrong day or what, but my experience with this restaurant was probably the worst I've ever had ordering online- not because of ease of access, or the delivery, but with the order itself: *there was a freezer thermometer mixed in to my salad!* It's no small thing either, maybe the size of a pocketwatch, so it's true baffling to me how this could have gotten in there. Safe to say I won't be ordering from here again!

The last time I had their chicken I was so disappointed! My chicken was spicy and I ordered the original honey base chicken and that is not what I received. The batter on the chicken was different and was falling off. It was darker than usually. This chicken is not cheap so to spend 40 dollars on two order and not be satisfied is not good! My family reservation was at 1200 today for 5 people. We got water immediately but our drink came out after our appetizers...20 minutes. Main course came out 20 minutes later, only after mentioning that other people who arrived after us were eating. They miss items that were ordered such as, Belgium waffles, coleslaw, all these items take minutes to prepare. I am a veteran, 92G who served over 20 years in food service. The only thing I enjoyed here was the company that I was with. I saw so many posts on social media calling this the best fried chicken in D.C. I was incredibly disappointed with Honeymoon. In terms of ordering, you order off of a QR code with no waiter. It kind of reminded me of a fast food chicken restaurant with this element. The chicken was stale and lacked freshness while the Mac and cheese tasted like chicken alfredo. I won't be back again. Who knows maybe it is my southern high bar for fried chicken.

I recently ordered from Honeymoon Chicken in Washington, D.C., through Uber Eats and was thoroughly disappointed. The chicken lacked any discernible seasoning, leaving it bland and unappetizing. A faint hint of sweetness, possibly from a light honey drizzle, was present, but it did little to enhance the flavor. Overall, the meal was subpar, and I would neither recommend Honeymoon Chicken nor consider ordering from them again.

I'm convinced everyone who eats here is paid to do so. Not only was the food cold but it was bad, all of it. The chicken sandwhich, chicken wings, mac n chesse and the postal wedges were just tolerable. They had too much salt unlike the rest of the food. Just tried Honeymoon for the first time. I drive by it from time to time, so have been meaning to stop by and check out their menu. I ordered online pick up and my order was ready within 10 minutes which I thought was very quick. I got the two piece combo with dark chicken and the spicy honey rub with a honey bun. I'd been waiting to try this chicken and this restaurant for quite a while. Recently, I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by. A couple things you need to know, you're ordering off of a QR code on the table. PRE-PAID before you get service. I'm okay with that, automation. The food just gets dropped to your table. Ok. The fact that I didn't want to do this but, after lost sleep, I'm going to do it. I'd love more flavor, in a better cleaned chicken. Maybe the energy in the kitchen or whoever was on the fryer could've possibly been tired...out of three pieces, two were over and the sole one was slightly under.
