Hooky Entertainment has potential, but the experience hasn't been consistent. There have already been several management changes, and it shows in how things are run day-to-day. One of the biggest concerns was that no one checked tickets, which raises questions about organization and overall control. Inside the theater, there were even lights hanging down, which didn't feel safe or well-maintained. Hoping things improve with more stability and attention to detail, because right now it feels a bit unpolished.

Great theatre! I'm really surprised by all the negative reviews. Took our family of 5 to see a movie. Service was great, popcorn fresh, and the theater was spacious and comfortable! Highly recommended!

My daughter and I were nearby in Delray Beach and decided to stop by Hooky Entertainment because she wanted to see a movie. The friendly greeter told us about their rare scratch-off promotion, and we luckily won a free one-hour bowling session! We had a blast for our first time here. The staff was nice, and the place has so much more than bowling -- a movie theater, arcade, and fun little games in the lobby that we played. We loved it and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I was really sour on Hooky for a variety of reasons including preposterously filthy bathrooms, technical issues with the movies, slow food service, indifferent staff and substandard food quality. It seemed like they had non-stop issues going on here no matter when I stopped by. And even though I liked the theater and the selection, it made it a drag to stop by and see a movie here. Been here a few times to see movies since my last review. I am very happy with the current management regarding the movies... haven't been to the attached bowling center. It seems as they run the place on limited staff, but seems to work out as it's not typically very busy. Online booking works well. The seats are comfortable. The screens are large and the sound is good. Their IMAX theater is great. I've been to larger IMAX theaters with bigger screens but this is still very good, and its only 10 minutes away! We went to see Wicked 2, we got our tickets online, easy! We went on Thanksgiving evening, the staff was great, concession was easy to get through and friendly staff. The place was clean, very clean. We bought the preferred seating or whatever it was called (seats D9, D10), fantastic and comfortable. The place was freezing! Luckily we did bring lite jackets, that was not enough! We stopped here before dinner nearby. This was a new to us version of this space -- like a playground for grownups. There weren't that many people here -- early on a Sunday evening. Two couples having drinks and a few couples asking about bowling. We were able to walk around undisturbed. There's a lot going on in this one location -- movies and imax with a concession stand; a full bar; regular bowling alleys and four skeeball games.
