After a number of ownership changes, the latest is Hooky. The place seems to be better than it's been when it comes to maintenance, staffing, cleanliness. Hope it lasts, as the venue is great. Excellent theaters, seating, sound and one IMAX theater. Saw the Greatful Dead movie last week (great by the way) at the IMAX theater. Saw JAWS, rereleased for the 50th anniv... was fun. Friendly service, movie theater was clean and the moths that were here under previous owners are gone. We had a great time!
This is the spot I go to for all of my movie needs. I've never had a problem with anything here other than the lights turning off a little late once. Idk what these other reviews are on about.
Now called Hooky Entertainment. This is the 4th operator of this movie theater. It has Imax, reclining chairs, bowling, bar, restaurant, arcade & games. Nothing has really changed other than the name.
Has gone down hill. Place is dirty, bathrooms dirty. Everything is bad. Each time it changes owners it gets worse. Blown speakers in screen 5. Seats are all torn up. Food in the cup holders. Screen has lines in it, like failed LEDs in the TV. Easily seen when the screen goes dark. Do not come here.
this people need to stepped it up! the air conditioner not working , chairs dirty and all damaged, this theater has a great potential, the owners needs to care more
Omg. Not handicapped accessible - no elevator. Must walk up a nice set of steps or 4 long ramps to very comfortable theatre seats or be faced with lots more steps to more seats. I requested easier place to sit as soon as I saw this and they were able to accommodate. Otherwise, I probably would have left. I went to the movies at Delray Marketplace tonight, and WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! We haven't been to the movies since before Covid. 6 years... While the movie theater itself, seats, screen, audio were fine, the restaurant has gone downhill. Table was not cleaned off when we arrived, and the server had to be asked to clean it. The menu seems greatly diminished. WORST of all the two bathrooms (restaurant and Family bathroom) both had no paper towels. The toilet paper dispensers made it nearly impossible to use. Everything is so dirty and gross and there are barely any employees to be found. The bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks
