You can't beat the ambiance of the Hotel Del. I vacationed there as a child, and wanted my kids to have that same experience. However, the Hotel Del is losing it's charm. It seemed to be pretty run down in places and needed some serious TLC. The stairwells were dirty and the handrails in those stairwells were filthy!! Everything needed a SERIOUS coat of paint. This hotel is the best! They offer so much for the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. Stay in the refurbished/remodeled rooms though because the main house is old and not as nice as our remodeled room. This place was amazing and you'll not regret your stay. One note, to drink and eat here is pricy so look around town for a cool dining experience that isn't $25 for one cocktail. Other than that, it's wonderful.

The Del is an amazing resort. Even the fire alarm one night which caused an evacuation was handled efficiently.

This hotel was Amazing! Staff helped us with any questions or concerns we had. One of the best Hotels we have stayed at! Beach was Perfect and so was our view of the beach! Fireworks were beautiful that was put on by Coronado Island
We had always wanted to stay at the Coronado and it definitely did not disappoint. All of the staff from the front desk, the pool towel staff, to the housekeeping were all kind and helpful. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to come back.
