My visit with Dr. Civantos was an emergency visit and handled in an excellent manner. I was given an immediate appointment. After an eye exam Dr. Civantos explained the problem thoroughly and answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed and received excellent care.

The services that I receive from Joseph M. Civantos, MD is excellent. Dr. Civantos and the staff at Illinois Retina Associates, Joliet IL are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my eye health and care. Dr was through and spent the time to answer my questions. I didn't like some of the answers, but I appreciated his ability to answer uncomfortable questions for his patients. His support staff was quick and clear about what they were doing and why. The only issue was with the front desk personnel who seemed to be under a bit of stress, on the the other hand they were getting UPS delivery and had several other patients checking in.
