This was my first visit with Dr Civantos. He was very nice, pleasant, patient and informative. He didn't appear to be in a hurry, and explained everything to me. He also answered all my questions in a manner I could understand. I am very pleased to have him for my doctor.

my care could not have been better. Illinois Retina Associates always checks my eye pressure, mine was sky high after cataract surgery a few months ago. The tech triple checked the measurement and didn't dilate me (as it was not safe to do so). Dr. Civantos prescribed eye pressure lowering drops and gave detailed instructions of self administrating them even though this is not the kind of eye problem he usually treats.
