Last night’s dinner was good but not as good as our first visit to J-Prime. The restaurant was pretty slow so I wonder if maybe we just came on an off night. Also, I found it weird that there was no music playing. I did appreciate the football game being on in the bar though.
We have a birthday tradition of visiting steakhouses for our birthdays. I made reservations for my husbands birthday at J Prime and impressed is an understatement. Our waitress, Paola was attentive, cheerful and provided us with the best service we have ever received. The manager, Manuel came to check on us several times to ensure everything was to our liking. Excellent food and service!
We opted for the Wagyu sampler, and we were definitely not disappointed. Service was outstanding, multiple staff were very attentive, drinks were good, all around an outstanding experience.
Table was not ready even when we made reservations. Took 45 minutes to sit us after our reservation time
Had a blast celebrating friends Birthday there!! Food was great and staff was amazing! Will definitely go back!

I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. The service was impeccable it’s been several years since I’ve seen this level of service in a restaurant in Austin Texas for quite some time. Trinity was our server and went above and beyond to make my husband‘s birthday dinner special we had the fish and chips as an appetizer and was the most unique fish and chips we have ever The food was delivered in a timely manner and the organization of the staff was incredible to watch
