Another fantastic experience at JPrime!! Appetizers to Entrees were fabulous!! Our table has both steaks and seafood entrees and all were happy with choices!! We had an early reservation so service was on point and dining room was quiet.
Our waitress Jasmine was awesome & deserves a raise! She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu & gave great suggestions. Grilled Lamp Chops were phenomenal & the Rib Eye was cooked perfectly! Et

With the numerous steakhouses in Austin these days, JPrime does a great job of differentiating itself by focusing on the incredible customer experience and service. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave it feels like the team is genuinely happy to have you as a guest. We know a lot of their guests are there for a special occasion, but we just enjoy visiting for the service, steak and martinis.
The food was great, and the waitstaff was on point.
One of the specials was a 45-day DRY AGED Prime 22oz bone in NY Strip that was perfectly grilled to order Rare+. The flavor was exquisite and truly one of the best I have had. We raise Waygu on our ranch and are discriminating beef connoisseurs so this is quite a compliment to J-Prime Austin. Ordered the Foie Gras on pita toast points to pair with the steak and a good Malbec which added to the perfection. Our waiter was super attentive & made our first experience dining at J Prime one to remember. He was precise, informative & we felt well taken care of during our dining experience. And to top it all off, the food selections were amazing!!
The Caesar salad was excellent. The filet was also excellent, though maybe a tad too salty (and I like salt). It was also a little overcooked, but not enough to send it back. (We ordered rare and it was more medium rare.) The crab legs were gigantic and delicious, though the knuckles were a little salty. The cheese rolls they bring at the beginning were great.
