We’re from San Antonio and go to the SA location several times a year. We went to Austin to celebrate my birthday and were excited to find out you have an Austin location. We recognized several employees from SA. Everything was great and such a nice atmosphere with a beautiful interior.
We had an excellent time here. The service with Manny taking care of us was fantastic. He was extremely attentive and took excellent care of us. The specialty drinks were well crafted, balanced, and wine recommendations were spot on. If you go, end the night with a carajillo!! Wouldn’t even know there’s alcohol in it and the espresso is smooth. The food was wonderful, but a bit overpriced. Lamb lollipops, dual filet’s, scallops, were all seasoned well and cooked perfectly. My new favorite restaurant in Austin. I’ve gone twice now and both experiences have been 10/10.
Our cocktails were outstanding! The Elderflower drink is scrumptious and I will return just for this! My husband’s Old Fashioned was yummy as well. We sat in the dining room which was quiet and without TVs - no loud music! My husband and I shared a flavorful beet salad that was sized perfectly. The kitchen split the salad for us at no extra charge. We also enjoyed the perfectly prepared filet mignon duo - one Oscar style and one with broiled blue cheese crust. The food is very nice and the service is great. Be prepared to wait 30-45 mins after your reservation to be seated though, given Saturday is very busy.
My fiancé and I went here for a late Valentine’s Day dinner celebration and sadly we weren’t too impressed. We were squeezed into a small table near the crowded loud bar, which also had a live DJ playing loud music. We also had the waiters order submission computer right next to us so we constantly had traffic moving around us. We could hardly hear each other the whole time. We waited 40 mins for our first drink. While we were still eating our appetisers, the second course arrived and there was no attempt to give us time to finish our courses as the waiter forced the dishes onto the table. One of the courses needed a spoon which did not arrive for 5 mins. Food taken away before we had finished with it.
