Food was decent pub food, but there were many options to choose from an extensive menu. While it was very crowded and there was an enthusiastic football crowd watching the games, our server was either new to the experience or simply wasn't as focused as she could have been. Otherwise it was a great experience and we'll be back again!
Business response:
Thank you for the 5-star review and recommendation, Lauri! We’re glad you enjoyed the lively sports bar atmosphere, extensive menu, and the energy of a packed house for football. We also appreciate your candid feedback about the service. Even during a busy game day, attentive and focused hospitality is important, and we’ll share your comments with our team. Thanks for saying you’ll be back—we look forward to providing an even better experience next time!
We were seated promptly and never rushed. Our server, Jesus, was very attentive and pleasant. We all enjoyed our luncheon special: 1/2 sandwiches (turkey avocado, BLT) and soup or salad. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!

I felt sorry for the wait staff! They got a pop and only had two servers on. That restaurant is way too big for only 2 servers. Food was good, vibe was good.
Business response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Victoria, and especially for recognizing how hard our team was working during an unexpectedly busy afternoon. We’re sorry the staffing level impacted the service you received, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. We’re glad you still enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Jake n JOES Waltham, and we hope your next visit delivers a great experience across the board!
Our party of 5 went very well. Our waitress was outstanding and very attentive. The meals were very good and the service was excellent. We stayed for 3+ hours just reminiscing about old times and work related stories. I would recommend Jake N Joes Sports Grille. We all had a good time.

Excellent pub food. Lots of TVs so we could watch the Sox while others watched the World Cup
Business response:

We booked a week ahead for the last World Cup match, but when we arrived someone had given away our table. It was very crowded and chaotic, but thankfully they eventually got us 2 seats at the bar. Food was decent and crowd was very lively.
Business response:
Thank you for your feedback, Amy. We appreciate you joining us for the World Cup Final, and we're sorry your reserved table wasn't available when you arrived. It was an incredibly busy day, but we know that doesn't make the situation any less frustrating. Thank you for being so understanding and willing to pivot with us by accepting seats at the bar—we truly appreciate your flexibility. We're glad you were still able to enjoy the lively atmosphere, and we hope to welcome you back soon for the seamless Jake n JOES experience ... read more
It was four of us for lunch. We ate outside which was very pleasant that day. Better than being in the more noisy and screens indoors. We asked for a cushion for one of the chairs but none was delivered. The fish lacked seasoning. Otherwise the food was good.
Business response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Joel. We're glad you enjoyed dining on our outdoor patio and that your overall meal was a good one. We do apologize that your request for a chair cushion was overlooked and that the fish wasn't seasoned to your expectations. Feedback like yours helps us improve both our food and service, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We hope to welcome you back to Jake n JOES Waltham again soon!
