Our waitress Morgan was great. We enjoyed the pretzel stick appetizer and everyone enjoyed their dinner

Always a great experience at J&J Waltham
Reserving a table is a way to beat the crowd. Great service and food.
For a sports bar pup, they do a good job a Jake n JOES. The menu is extensive. Our server was excellent. Never rushed us and was right there to ask about refills and if we’d like to order more. We stayed to watch a sports game and the TVs are situated well throughout the restaurant.
FYI, They did not have my Open Table reservation when I arrived at the restaurant and I had confirmed it via email as requested by Open Table. JakenJoes could not figure out what happened and why they did not receive my reservation. I showed them the confirmation on my phone. Something may be wrong in their system. Please let them know. I dont want to have to wonder if my Open Table reservation is valid in the future. Thanks.
Came up to Waltham to visit my son who is attending Bentley. I live in CT. We had lunch and watched the Patriots game. Nice atmosphere for Sunday football. Food was pretty good. Overall good experience. I would go back.

We were a party of three visiting J&J's for lunch on a Tuesday in July. Three different lunch salads were ordered- all were very fresh and the requested changes were all made. Server was very pleasant and the kitchen was quite fast. Noise was as expected for a mid-day lunch crowd even given several tables of teens from a nearby camp were there as well. Overall a solid lunch pub with a broad menu, fresh food, and reasonable pricing for the portion sizes. I'll be back.

Salmon was overcooked and dry. Noise level did not lend itself to conversation.
