Valves Are Cracked! Don’t Buy! I bought three 3-way valves and every valve opening has a hairline crack on the top and some cracks go through the thickness of the valve. They were installed less than 2 months ago. My 2-way valves look okay but don’t waste your money. The inventories were super low due to the shortage so I had no choice but to wait. I’m not happy about having to spend more money to get them replaced! Save your headaches, money and buy from a pool store if you can.
Don’t forget to order cpvc cement. This is what you need if you’re building a pool or modifying pool plumbing. Make sure you use the reccomended cpvc weld-on 724 cement as noted by the manufacturer. I have had 4 of these in service for 17 years and no trouble so far.
Quality of product! Nothing!
Leaking Valve I installed this diverter valve per the instructions (removed the "guts" during gluing). Verified that the sealing surfaces of the valve housing are not compromised by any excess glue or anything. All the PVC pipe joints are watertight but the valve has a slight leak out of the closed off port seal. Will try to rectify through troubleshooting as I don't want to have to repipe the section that contains the valve as that would mean needing a new valve and pump and filter replacement unions plus the PVC pipe and f... read more

Seems like it may be built a bit tougher Jandy version is very similar to Hayward. Seems like it may be built a bit tougher. I'll find out this winter
Design results in cavitaion noise This flow valve creates turbulence that results in loud turbulent water noise from cavitation. Had a different Jandy 3 way valve before that had union couplings and did not make noise.. It's so loud I had to almost put it in a shutoff position as fear the neighbors would complain.

Works perfect! I pulled out the guts of these and put them inside the old valves, no more leaking, no sawing of PVC, and no mess
