Built to replace I made the mistake of using a number of Jandy parts throughout my pool equipment. I don't mind paying the price for something that will last but Jandy does not offer that kind of quality. Never again.
It does the job I bought a house with a built in pool and spa. The Jandy valves were already installed. While looking for a leak I over tightened one screw on a valve and cracked the plastic housing. As a result when the pump is not running air leaks in to the plumbing and fills the plumbing and pump with air. When that happens the pump is not primed and cannot filter the water. My bad! The valves work fine but are very expensive. It would be nice if they installed sleeves around the screw holes that would help prevent over ... read more
