Very disappointed. Look elsewhere for a salt chlorinator Had this unit installed when pool constructed in August of 2014. Small pool and light use of the unit. Stopped working and had to have the unit replaced in 1.5 seasons. Should be marketed as a disposable piece of equipment. Single use only ( as in one season). Very disappointed . Look elsewhere for a salt chlorinator.

I have this system in my 11k pool for 2 ... I have this system in my 11k pool for 2 years and give me problems. Leaks around the pipe, cells inside to deteriorate after the 1st year by 2nd year it had stopped working. I am handy so I got it to work, but still leaks. Spend more money and not on this unit.

DO NOT BUY DO NOT BUY. I purchased mine last year about this time. It worked for about 6 months (during winter) and never worked again. I called Jandy, and they gave me the song and dance about contacting a dealer - no thank you. If you will not stand by your product, I will never recommend you. Flawed design, dismal customer support, avoid at all cost.

Dead unit after 1.5 yrs and little help from Jandy/Zodiac I would not recommend this product to anyone. I purchased one last year and it stopped working after light use for a season and a half. The unit died completely, without warning. The troubleshooting guide in the manual was pretty much useless - i.e. make sure it's plugged in. Tech support at Jandy/Zodiac was also not helpful - just out of warranty so we can't help you at all. They gave me a list of local servicers, none of which I have been able to reach. Since I was ... read more

Leaks constantlu I had the system installed by a professional pool company last year on my 12000 gallon inground pool. It works well but does tend to over-chlorinate even at the lowest level. My main problem is trying to get it to stop leaking water around the pipes where the cell is located. The company that installed it says that the leak problem is inherent with this system. I now realize that I should have paid a little more to get a better salt water system.

Doesn't work well with variable speed pumps This product has a nice industrial design, but poor UI and cell design. The issue is you need high water flow rate for the system to work. I first installed with 50mm piping on a 3 speed pump. On medium and low speed, the gas made by the cell collects in the top of the cell until eventually the low flow sensor triggers and stops the pump. I changed to 40mm pipe to increase the flow rate. It would then work on high and medium speeds, but not low speed, which is a real pain because I... read more

handy enough for this researched all salt systems, this one cost more for size of pool and I wanted 240 volts.(TWO WIRE HOCK-UM UP, THREE WIRE SCREW-UM UP) less AMPS. no cutting into piping. drill two holes, lightly sand area and install cell. my piping 1 1/2'. installed and making salt in an hour. reason so long added 20 40pd bags of pool salt. no need for flow switch, in use for 3 weeks and pool looks great, no chlorine taste, and have added zero chemicals. temperature has beeb in the 100's for a week. I can not agree with... read more

Poor duty cycle control snap-together design over 1.5" pvc has slow leak, Chlorinator 20% lowest duty cycle over chlorinates a 16K gallon pool. Stop watch check shows the 20% setting is not accurate, closer to 40%. Firmware on LED's is confusing, *, **, ***, ****, ***** is obvious but not used. Plastic no rust housing, but steel screws and steel mounting bracket are rusting in < 2 months. Customer help -- once they sence your a DYI homeowner their answer to their deficiencies is "call a professional installer". Sorry Jandy, ... read more
