I wanted a trusted brand I’ll buy any brand of light bulb for a normal fixture, but when putting a metal container hardwired to a 20 amp breaker in a pool of water that I’m going to be submerged in, I prefer to go with a trusted brand. I worked with an electrician friend to install this light, and it came out great. Installation couldn’t have been easier. Its a good replacemnet It works and hope it lasts a long time because im using it with a 50w LED bulb that is much brighter than the halogen bulb

Light Again I bought this light to replace one that was original to the pool, which was built in the 1980s. I worried about being able to pull the old wire through the underground conduit, but all went smoothly. If you can replace an electrical outlet or switch, you can replace a pool light. Don't remove the old wire and run fish tape through the conduit to grab the new wire at the light cavity. updated design they work great. remote is a very nice device. the only issue was the new design was a slight off the previous housing when installing. took two of us a little bit arm wrestling to get it in. also the screw was too short. luckily found a longer screw and cut to length.
Easy to Install Two pool companies wanted outrageous amounts to replace a burned out old light. Turns out it was easy to install once the old light was removed. Simply attach a strong nylon cord to old wiring when removing it so that you will be able to use the cord to pull the new line through, or use an electrical fish wire to pull new electrical cord from pool to electrical outlet. Be sure the circuit breakers to pool light are OFF during install.

Didn't fit The light is great, has a nice brite color to it. Sadly, our power source wasn't compatible with the amount of voltage that this particular light needed. We did tested the light bulb with another device and the color is great. We had to return it and get a refund, It took us a while to find the correct voltage light bulb. So make sure your pool has the proper breaker on the power box, our pool is over 20 yrs old so the watts and whatever involves the functionality of it does not meet the regular standard according... read more
