Five Stars as described very easy to install
Original part at a good price. Cell is as advertised. It came with all parts needed and good instructions. Anyone with even rudimentary home improvement skills can easily install this. The only question may be where the wiring is concerned, however it is generally the cell itself that goes bad and not the wiring so it may not need to be replaced. Good price! I've seen some cells as high $1000+.

Best option to replace old Jandy Cell When the cell on my original Jandy system gave up after 11 years, I was forced to do some research and this cell is the closest you can get to plug and play. The cell is not the same length as the older PURE 1400 Cell but is fairly easy to install if you have a bit of patience and knowledge of cutting and glueing PVC pipe. The actual connection to the older control board takes about 5 min.
It was so easy to replace and has been working so well We bought this system to replace the one in our pool that had recently stopped working. The local pool companies were going to charge us anywhere from $1000-1500 to replace the salt cell with a different, cheaper model or $2000 to replace the entire salt system. We decided to take a chance and order this product to do it ourselves. It was so easy to replace and has been working so well!! I would definitely recommend trying to replace this on your own!

Great seller This is more a review of the seller than the product. We've had this salt cell in our pool for some time. The seller was great making sure we got the right product so we could DIY.
They work but watch and clean out calcium buildup with acid and pressure washer. Better than adding chlorine to you pool every week. Costs about the same as adding chlorine manually but less work. They last 3 to 5 yrs. So figure this plus circuit boards and rarely adding salt vs adding chlorine every week for 4 yrs. So, less work; but, not much saving vs adding chlorine every week.
