Excellent DEAL! This was a 10 min job to replace an expired PLC1400C on our system. Sure, it was the newer version and looks exactly the same. So here's what makes this an AWESOME bargain. A year ago, I had to buy the sensor separate. That was $170 alone AND they've changed the design to a newer non-daughter card interface. The new sensor has worked great. Four Stars Was as excepted, still working. :-)
Excellent high-quality cell, but install in strait-through configuration rather than via the side port to minimize restriction. I great/complete kit. Installation is made simple by the removable ends. Cord length is excellent. I highly recommend getting this cell over the smaller version if you have a smaller pool. This provides lower restriction, longer life, and the option of a higher production rate. Three Stars Thing poops out every few years. I guess still cheaper than chlorine.
Five Stars works great easy install
Good replacement I hate having to buy a new unit every couple of years, but this was the best price available. I finally figured out to keep my old defective unit and install for the winter months... hopefully less use on this one when not needed will extend the life. Shipping exceeded my expectations.
