Though I was initially hesitant about using a lender I found online, Jeff Smith from Mortgage Lenders of America answered all my questions and put me at ease. Overall the entire process was much easier than having to go to a physical mortgage lender. Jeff was available to answer any questions quickly throughout the process.

I was told that a VA loan was still out of reach for me, did a short sale with 5 to 6 months remaining based on the stated 2 yrs before I could buy a new home. Connected with Jeff, and he assured to me, based on my qualifications that he could make this work for me. Closed on my "New Home" on May, 16, 2016, 4 months prior to the 2 yrs stated by other lenders. Getting a mortgage can be an anxiety filled experience. Jeffrey was very helpful throughout the entire process that seemed a little stressful at times but, in the end, was a very agreeable outcome. Jeff was a great lender, he had all the answers and was quick to find them if he didn't already know it. He made the purchase of my new home so easy. Even if I was short on time, I felt I had complete results. He had forms filled out and all I needed was to review and sign. I couldn't find anything unclear in any form or document prepaired.
