I hate dentists. That's all there is to it. My husband had just been there a month before for the first time and when he returned, he couldn't stop raving about how amazing it was! I took it all with a grain of salt since he has perfect teeth and doesn't understand the fear and misery one could truly have at a dentist office. Eventually he talked me into making an appt and I went, very reluctantly and very grumpily. I've been going to Crystal to get my teeth cleaned for years and she is great at what she does, efficient and extremely friendly. Makes going to the dentist a pleasure.
Love that Mindy - she is the best! However - I would like to say, I wish our family was allowed a bit of "grace" when coming to the practice. It takes us close to an hour to travel from West Linn to the office (no, really... it does!) and scheduling can be tough. We drive by at least 20 other dental practices, and while we know you are running a business (I work in healthcare and know the importance of timeliness!), I just wish our efforts to continue coming to this practice would be recognized. I love your whole office! Crystal is the best!
I would have rescheduled this appointment because the dentist was not there. However, I usually have to book a new appointment many weeks out due to lack of availability. I would have preferred to have a dental exam at this visit but didn't want to wait months to get back in. This is my one complaint about this office, getting in can really be tough if the appointment I secheduled 6 months ago doesn't work for me now.
I was disappointed that I was not informed about the switch of dental hygenist. I was also disappointed to not have been able to see Dr. Price but at least I was notified of her absence the day prior so I had the choice of rescheduling my appointment. It seemed cumbersome to still have to fill out the patient info update sheet even though I informed staff that this was my very last visit due to insurance changes. Crystal is a real live wire and I enjoyed (!) the visit. Along the way, it seemed to me that we got some work done and I learned some valuable things about my dental health. What more can one ask?
