I submitted my claim to this company for a 2017 vehicle that was totaled in a deer accident. As part of the insurance claim process my insurance company fairly valued the vehicle based on mileage and condition at the time of the accident usingCCC Market Valuation. When I received my GAP claim determination from Jim Morgan & Associates (JM & A Group), they determined no claim would be paid out. I have a 2015 Kia Soul that broke down May 2020. I had to have it towed to dealer service. At the time of purchase I bought an extended warranty that was carried by JM&Assoc. Warranty is good until 2024. I had just had an 80,000 mile service done in Feb 2020 which cost $883 dollars. Only drove 731 miles between Feb and May. Car was at dealer service for 7 weeks before I was informed JMA denied the claim due to excessive overheating! I NEVER had an issue with overheating. Car didn't overheat when engine died. My vehicle was totalled out in March due to theft. State Farm has paid their portion to lender. The JMA Group has NOT given up a penny. I have submitted documents to them with no avail. They also have changed my claim number that does not match my documentation received from the Dealership

If I could give no stars I would. I had gap insurance on my 2016 Chrysler and the car was totaled. My insurance paid $13000. JM&A is only paying $10,000 which leaves me paying $2600 on a car someone else destroyed. Why did I have GAP insurance?? . That is ridiculous and nothing like that is specified in the contract. Both my lawyer and I have tried repeatedly to get them to send a document that shows how they come to that calculation and they will not send it.

If I could give no stars I would. I had gap insurance on my 2015 Jetta and the car was totaled. My insurance paid $7,886 and I owed around 13k. JM&A is only paying $791 which leaves me paying $4,300 on a car someone else destroyed. Why did I have this insurance?? Useless. JM&A claims that if you're late even one day on a payment that payment counts in their calculation as deducted from what they will pay out. Our car was totaled. We got back less than what we paid for the policy. The explanation was that the amount was based on the cars high mileage. Progressive gave us more than we anticipated; same car; same mileage. In effect, we gave you a nonrefundable deposit.

Check into who your GAP provider is. After sending countless documents they claim they need the MSRP from the dealer. After this is sent and if they do not cover the total amount of the gap I will happily be seeking legal action. I shall update as this concludes.

JMA is a joke of an organization. I purchased an aftermarket warranty with them thru a local car dealership without checking into them. That was a complete mistake. They are they most nonsensical, hair splitting, joke of a "warranty" company I've ever personally dealt with. Steer VERY clear of these people unless you want to battle over every repair that should be covered - but they will find a way to nickel and dime you on. Total waste of money to purchase their gap coverage. I paid $850 for gap coverage and my car ended up being totaled in an accident. Their settlement check, based on their made up calculation...which is not defined nor described, amounted to $147. After my insurance paid and I paid my deductible, I only owed $600 on the balance on my car loan. I should have saved the premium. This company is a joke and a fraud!
