Horrible company to deal with!!! been waiting for our money for a contract cancelation!! it has been over 2 months and not received yet!!! been hung up on 4 times. can't reissue check for 30 days!! all lies. they take your money, but won't give it back. will be issueing complaint to attorney general, better business bureau. might have to file for a small claims. the amount is over $2000.00. i am not giving up. we want our money!!!!!
I have been trying to get a refund of the unused portion of my warranty since November when I traded my car. It is now September and still getting the runaround. Now they said they issued a check and it was mail and even after waiting 32 days and putting a stop pay on it6 days ago they still claim they have to confirm that it has been done. Then they said it will take a couple more days to print and pull that check out so they can certified mail it.
From my personal experience, this company will do everything in their power to not pay out a claim. They will delay review of documents, they will request every minor document they can request, they will deny certain documents, etc. The analysts at this company think that they are hot shit, and dont have to respond. Overall, they are rats crawling thru every hole possible to escape settlement. Unprofessional and unhappy.
Still no check finally after months because of a bad review got a call back, they mailed check to BOA but since account was paid of like the letter from BOA had told them they sent the check back. We’re going for a record here, BBB IS no help, it’s only $327.79 but it’s the principle of it. My next step is I guess is starting a legal process when I go back to Florida late this month. insurance commissioner of Fl was no help.
I'm through playing games with American Honda Finance Corporation. They keep moving the goalposts on me. Next actions: the District Attorney office in Torrance,Calif.,Alpharetta, Ga.,and Exton,PA. I've worked with several warranty companies in my career, and this has hands down been the worst customer service I've ever received or seen. I have sent 4 e-mails over 12 days. I've called twice and waited on hold with no one answering. I received one e-mail reply to my initial inquiry, I responded with the relevant info they requested, and have not gotten even an automated response since then. Their communication is abysmal. We have been dealing with Gap claims for a month and progressive insurance paid 14,000 on our loan leaving a remainder of 1,607.00 and Gap doesn't want to cover that even though we been paying Gap ins. They say it's for storage fees etc. But nowhere in our loan agreement does the remaining balance say for storage this was an agreement when we bought the vehicle. What a joke only paid $175 toward my claim after paying them for four years. Common thieves is what they are, Matt one of the owners so he says offered little or no help. If you use this company they do not stand behind anything they say horrible service.
There is no way these reviews are actual people. every website besides this one has HORRIBLE reviews and i understand why and heres why. I bought a 2012 dodge Durango in November of 2018. in on December 27 2020 I hit a deer and totaled my Durango. The insurance company paid around 7k off and my to my understanding with me paying monthly for "gap" coverage it would pay the remaining "GAP" of what I owed that the insurance did not pay on it hence the word "GAP" coverage. it pays the gap but it does not according to JM&A.
