Do not use this company for GAP coverage. I was sold GAP+ which is supposed to cover insurance deductible. They claim I don't have that even though it is what I was sold. Additionally, they play games with vehicle valuation and say insurance underpaid so they won't cover anything. My insurance produced a thorough and detailed market valuation. Further, when I called JM&A, they claim that my "contract" only covers 90% of NADA value. I asked them to send me this contract only to be told they don't have it. They exist to take y... read more

Still no check-lied like always/ Called the morons at the warranty JM&A warranty company-just said like always-they will talk with their salesman that connects with dealership Ganley. I told them a salesman doesn't care. They can send a check to me and get their other 2nd back from dealership Ganley.. I don't know if on the one to Key Bank-who never had it. Absolutely terrible. They completely wasted my time, money, and disrespected me. Their communication is lacking and even when I provided my reference number, they acted like they had no idea what was happening. I would reference PDFs and communications they sent me and they still had no idea how to help me, so clearly their internal communications are broken. Finally, they told me I would have to wait 6 – 8 weeks for my cancellation to be processed and for my money to be returned. I've waited about 10 weeks now and still hav... read more

I spent $425 on Gap insurance for my Subaru Forester in 2016. I totaled that car on 02/13/2020. I had $7000 remaining on my car loan. My car insurance paid it off. JMA said my car was paid off by my insurance I do not get any money. I said to the gap agent that it was a waste of $425 if the car insurance paid it. He agreed. This is stealing. I have contacted my attorney and if he is able to change the outcome, I will write another review. In the meantime do not buy gap insurance. It is robbery.

I gave them one star as I couldn’t give a negative number. They hide behind word games and LOVE to refuse to take care of the problems when calling in they constantly fall back on their mantra of its a legally binding contract and it’s the fault of the contract holder for getting sub par or substandard coverage. We got the service contract when we bought our truck and they are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Total waste of money to purchase their gap coverage. I paid $850 for gap coverage and my car ended up being totaled in an accident. Their settlement check, based on their made up calculation...which is not defined nor described, amounted to $147. After my insurance paid and I paid my deductible, I only owed $600 on the balance on my car loan. I should have saved the premium. This company is a joke and a fraud!

Do not buy this.product. As a disabled veteran on a fixed income, I did. I bought a vehicle from Wilmington Auto Center in Ohio. They process finding Peoples Bank with lowest interest to give a loan. I added JM&A for gap. I had my vehicle totaled. I had everything done in 3 weeks. Insurance pay off, gap paperwork. Everything done. I called JM&A. The 1 2 3 and 3 to 7 days. Not for me. Don’t take time to explain anything. The people on the phone are rude. Left me with a bigger headache then when I started. Find different gap coverage.

I'm not a happy customer. I sure would like to know how JM&A determined the NADA value of a vehicle they haven't seen. I'm left with over a $1700 difference between how my auto insurance company determined the value of my vehicle vs. JM&A. In my mind that's still a pretty big "gap" that I have to pay for. Definitely not happy.
